"My favorite rental thus far. Extremely well equipped for a short or long stay. The owner definitely paid meticulous attention to detail on this rental. Things I didn’t even know I needed were provided for my stay. Incredibly clean and organized. The bed was remarkably comfortable. The location was beautiful. Enjoyed watching the stars by the fire on the back patio. Would definitely return on our next trip."

The attention to detail inside the cottage was simply unbelievable, even down to having spices for your use while there, just incredible. We highly recommend staying at this cottage. "We decided on a semi-spontaneous trip to the PNW (Olympic NP as our main destination). The Olympic Discovery Cottage was one of very few options available for booking on such short notice, but we are elated to have stayed here. We arrived to a clean and adorably decorated cottage. House is well-stocked (kitchen and bath supplies included) for a week or longer stay, several streaming services and Wifi for no additional charge, just spacious enough for the two of us. We enjoyed coming home to the cottage each day after we completed our explorations. If we’re ever back in the area, we will book again!"

"Lovely, clean and very well organized new house with gorgeous view of Olympic Mountains! 😍

Streaming selection was great also, but we spent most of the evening on a nice private patio. It was very peaceful and we enjoyed the evening/night with a fire pit and lots of stars without light pollution. (felt like luxurious camping 😍) . Patio includes lounge chairs plus a table and four chairs for dining outside.

Kitchen tools are well stocked, labeled and easy to find. It has everything you need including washer and dryer, large fridge with freezer and even a dishwasher.

Bed was very comfortable and came with two nice closets and bathrobes. Two head shower was super nice. Everything felt like I was staying at a model house.

We want to come back here! We highly recommend this place to everyone ❤️ "

A “Home” Away From Home

“The short answer is EVERYTHING!”

“This cottage is so well appointed! It lacks for nothing. First, you have a great view of the Olympic Mountains.

The kitchen is fully (I mean fully) equipped! Everything is high end supplies from the Keurig pod coffee machine to the toaster oven and microwave. There is a full refrigerator in the kitchen and the garage. Yes, you can park your car in the garage.

The bedroom has a very comfortable queen bed with two full closets. There is a queen sofa bed that is also very comfortable with high end sheets and pillows. Having the washer and dryer in the unit is a plus with 2 kids and 5 days. The shower has two heads. There is a hair dryer and curling iron. Plenty of plush white towels and robes.

There is a Weber gas barbecue and wood burning outside fire pit, although we didn’t make use of these. The girls enjoyed playing with the lawn toys and we enjoyed the Scrabble game.

The lavender farms and the coastline are so close, you can get to in minutes. I would go back in a heartbeat. The owners are lovely! I recommend without hesitation. You will not regret it."

"Stunning! We arrived after 10pm so we really had no idea what was around us. To our surprise, we woke up with a stunning view of the mountains in Olympic National Park. Absolutely beautiful!

The home is exactly as described and very clean. It is stocked with everything you could need- toiletries, laundry supplies, coffee supplies, bathrobes, extra bedding, etc. The furnishings are modern and cozy. Bed was super comfortable, and my daughters said the pull out couch was comfy as well.

The outdoor space was fantastic. Lots of seating and a firepit with roasting sticks that we put to good use making smores!

We wished we could have stayed longer! This home did not disappoint!"

"When we first arrived we spent half an hour admiring all the touches that this cute place had. Allison and her husband really outdid themselves. If you forgot something at home I’d bet money that your item would not be missed as everything you need is in the cottage. The only bad part about this stay was having to leave!! Of course this place is amazing for a short stay but I recommend a week at least so you can try out all the amenities!"
